Each year, thousands of signed and unsigned artists, music fans, and industry professionals descend upon Austin, Texas for South By Southwest, (SXSW) – the 6-day music festival/conference that is entering its 28th year. While SXSW has grown to include larger scale events, artists and sponsors, the core purpose of the week-long event remains true: providing a platform for new, undiscovered and burgeoning independent artists to be heard.
With over 100 venues opening their doors throughout the days of SXSW, great live performances from artists of ALL genres are impossible to avoid. We’re proud to boast that since 2012, 1/3 of the artists who’ve performed at SXSW each year have distributed through TuneCore during their careers!
