Music is a powerful thing. If you’re reading this blog, you already know that! In a couple of weeks, thousands of artists, music industry professionals, and fans will flock to Austin for SXSW. While 1/3 of the massive line up artists have distributed through TuneCore, we know that all TuneCore Artists won’t be able to attend. In order to show support for that hardworking sector, we’re releasing The Power of Independence 2015: A TuneCore Artist Compilation.
There’s no particular theme or genre requirements for this compilation, so we’re inviting you to distribute & submit for consideration today! Gotta new single you’ve been waiting to release? Or maybe you’re working on an album/EP and want to tease your fans with a sampling of it? Whatever your situation is, our compilations are distributed for Amazon Music (US) and consistently rank in the Top 10 for free albums around their release date. They’re a great way to get heard by new fans!
We’ll be highlighting both returning AND first-time TuneCore Artists, so tell your friends!
To be considered for our Power of Independence 2015, just fill out the form and remember these key points:
-All TuneCore Artists are invited to submit new music for inclusion on the compilation.
-In order for a song to be considered, it must be distributed by TuneCore between March 2-23, 2015 and the entry form must be submitted by March 23, 2015, midnight EST.
