Event Recap: TuneCore Live at Bardot 5/26

June 8, 2015

A couple of weeks back we packed the gorgeous Bardot in Hollywood with fans and artists for the sixth installment in our TuneCore Live event series. This series has truly begun to take off and continues to offer our TuneCore Artists the chance to take the stage to showcase their latest music – something we couldn’t be more proud of! Month after month, with the help of Swisher Sweets & the #SwisherArtistProject, DropKloud and Mirrored Media, it’s been our honor to provide a diverse array of TuneCore Artists with the opportunity to share a bill and hang out with our West Coast team.

Up first, bringing energetic pop rock that incorporates synth and driving vocals, was five-piece Act As If. They wowed the crowd with songs from their latest full length, Steady. Following Act As If was singer/songwriter Curtis Peoples, who brought a wonderful backing band to help him power through cuts off his The Fight and All I Want releases, as well as his latest awesome NSYNC cover, “Bye Bye Bye”. Hitting the stage next was Boston-based folk pop quintet Best Of Friends, whose catchy tunes were the perfect way to cap off an evening of music and fun! Much love to DJs Tron Stamos & HeyBradWhatsUp for keeping the party moving in between sets.

Be sure to check out our gallery of photos from the event, and follow TuneCore Live’s Facebook page to stay up to speed with all of our upcoming events. See you in a few weeks, LA!
