Artist Breakdown: TuneCore Live Brooklyn @ The Living Room, 10/21

October 14, 2015

The leaves are falling, people are already getting salty about the upcoming winter season, and TuneCore is bringing our live event series to the Living Room in Williamsburg for the third time – all signs point to October in Brooklyn!

With our buddies at Swisher Sweets, Mirrored Media and CeleBuzz, we’re ready to get down with YOU for a night of networking, partying, and of course, live music. This month’s TuneCore Live: Brooklyn brings together Fever High, Crazy & the Brains, and Beecher’s Fault. Gonna be in the area? Come hang out with us! You can RSVP on Facebook here. (Keep in mind this is a FREE 21+ event.)

Definitely get more familiar with our TuneCore Artists sharing the stage this month below:

Beecher’s Fault

An idea that was born in New Jersey and eventually brought over to Queens by leaders Ken Lamken (keys/vocals) and Ben Taylor (guitar/vocals), Beecher’s Fault is a four-piece indie pop group. It’s always refreshing to see a band playing music that can hit lovers of all genres, and that’s just what Beecher’s Fault does! Their live show has been said to result in a “wall of sound”, so you can look forward to Beecher’s Fault belting out new jams off of their latest Do As People Do EP on Wednesday night.

Crazy & the Brains

Hailing from Jersey City, indie-punk five-piece Crazy & the Brains have garnered press from impressive outlets including The AV Club, The New Yorker, and Noisey (VICE), on top of sharing the stage with indie powerhouses like NOBUNNY, The Slackers and The Menzingers. Did we mention they run their own indie music venue in their hometown? Yeah. They do. It’s called The Funhouse and we think that’s incredible! Catch Crazy & the Brains’ upcoming Brain Freeze 7″, which drops in November.

Anna Nordeen and Reni Lane are the two singers & multi-instrumentalists that make up Fever High. Based in Brooklyn, the two have jumped onto the scene recently with there ‘retro-tinged, danceable indie-pop’ tunes, and we’re excited they’ve chosen TuneCore to get their awesome sound out! They’re championing their live set with the help of a backing band and just released their debut EP, which was produced by collaborator/Fountains of Wayne member Adam Schlesinger. Check out the first single off that EP below:
